Israel has sealed off the West Bank for 48 hours because of fears of unrest.

Clashes broke among Palestinians after a deadlock in peace talks, and Israel's claim over two West Bank shrines.

Several Palestinians have been badly wounded.

There are dozens of people protesting, and Israeli policemen have suffered light injuries.

The closure will end at midnight tomorrow.
