An attempt to make a traffic stop sends officers on a 68 mile pursuit.

When police in Hardin County tried to stop Ollie Campbell, 34, of Edmonton, he fled and was pursued by Elizabethtown Police, KSP Post 4, and the Hardin County Sheriff's Office.

Assistance was also later requested from KSP Post 3 and Munfordville Police.

The pursuit went through five counties including Hardin, Larue, Hart, Barren, and Metcalfe traveling at speeds of 80 to 100 miles per hour on I-65 and KY 70.

A collision at the end of Jimmy Hubbard Road in Metcalfe County caused Campbell to flee on foot before being apprehended.

Campbell was arrested on numerous charges and is lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center.
