With Census forms hitting your mailbox it's important for you to be aware of possible scams.

Remember, the Census does not ask for your social security number, for money, conduct the census via the internet, or request pin numbers or passwords to your bank account or credit cards.

Also, Census workers will only go door-to-door starting in May and only to the homes of people who did not fill out the Census.
