I have 3 children. One of them has ADHD. Another is in his "terrible 2's." It can be a real challenge to get them in and out of walmart. Still, I take them all in with me. Why? I love my children. Forget the fact that this heat is stifling... there is a rise in the number of child predators out there. She should have just put a sign on the van that said "baby-- yours for the taking!" This enrages me because I have friends who can't have children who would give anything for the "hassle" of lugging two kids in Walmart with them! That woman had a driver's license which tells me she has SOME sense. Therefore, she KNEW BETTER than to leave that baby in that vehicle. There is absolutely no excuse for her actions. NONE. If I can take 3 in with me- she could have taken 2! Those kids should be place in loving homes.

I hope this mother has learned a very valuable lesson in all of this and that her children grow up to be very happy, healthy children. Parent education is needed in some cases where individuals don't make the best decisions when it comes to their children. I only hope this will be the last nearly fatal lesson this mother ever has to learn

Im glad that the two girls found the baby, because if they havent then the little baby could have already had and injury or died.It just kills me to see what the kids have to go through. =[

Thank goodness for the 2 girls getting into the vehicle next to hers. They truly were a blessing.

I think the woman who left her infant in the car should go to jail. I can't believe anyone could leave a child in the car at any time alone. I have 2 children and I never leave them in a car for anything because the way the world is today you never know what kind of person is out there or what kind of child abductor or a sex offender is out their looking for young innocent children to pray on. Why did this woman take one child in and leave the other in the car. She should be prosacuted to the extent the law will allow.

No child should ever be left in a car alone no matter how long you are going to be in a store. Not due to weather ro anything else, a child should never be left alone no matter what age or what the temp is. It makes me sick to think about what little kids have to go through.
