A Louisville father is arrested after police say he left his four-year-old daughter in the back seat of a car while he shopped with his two sons.
Thirty-three-year-old James White was charged Aug. 13 with first-degree wanton endangerment after a bystander called police.
Police say they found the child asleep in the car and had White paged on the store's intercom.
The girl was taken to Kosair Children's Hospital for observation.
She and her brothers were released to a relative.
Authorities estimate that the child had been inside the car for about ten minutes.
