A neighborhood in Butler County is concerned for their livestock and personal safety after vicious dog attacks in the past week. Temple and Joey Daughtery had five of their goats killed and the other five injured after dogs attacked them.
Other neighbors in the area say they've had cattle attacked and are afraid to leave their own pets out in the yard. Butler County Judge, Hugh Evans, says by the first of November a new animal shelter should be running. He says he hopes the new shelter will control the stray dog problem in the area.
