The Simpson County Animal Control office is looking for a dog owner they plan to charge with animal neglect. Yesterday animal control followed up on a tip that stray dogs were wandering around a house in rural Simpson County. After searching the outside of the house police found at least sixty dogs.
Many of the dogs didn't have proper shelter, food, or water. No one was home at the time but police hope to find the owner and charge her with animal neglect. Police have yet to release her name. All of the dogs, except one, were left at the house.
