The Warren County Attorney's office is cracking down on cold checks. In July, the office bought a new computer system that is aimed to work faster to collect bad checks.
So far they've collected one hundred thousand dollars and they hope to keep bringing in more. The County Attorney's Office still has at least ten thousand bad checks to collect though.
