According to WKU Media Relations...28-year-old Herb Hess of Tompkinsville was injured around 10:15 this morning while working on a sub-panel in a mechanical room near the WKU Police station. Hess is an electrician for facilities management at Western. The incident remains under investigation by Western's Environmental Health and Safety Department and WKU Police. Hess is being treated at the Medical Center.
