Another South-Central Kentucky dam is getting money for much needed repairs.
A sinkhole was discovered near Spa Lake Dam in November of 2005.
The hole has caused leakage at the rate of 108 gallons per minute.
Last week, Governor Fletcher brought a $100,000 check to the city of Russellville to be used for repairs.
The lake is crucial for supplying 1.5 million gallons of water to Logan Aluminum.
Logan Aluminum employs 900 people and produces more than one billion pounds of coil stock per year.
Repairs to Spa Lake Dam are expected to start next month.
