A Burkesville family is hoping to move back home soon once police say its safe. Monday morning STtanley and Susie Smith of Burkesville found a hole in the floor in their bedroom. After calling police they found out someone had planted a gasoline bomb under their house.
Police say the bomb malfunctioned but it was built so it would blow up the entire house and kill the family. The Smiths will be staying with friends or at a hotel until it is okay to go back home. Meanwhile Police are interviewing possible suspects.
