The debate continues in New York today over the planned mosque that would be built just two blocks away from ground zero.

Both NBC and CBS denied to run an ad against the mosque.

The ad comes from The Republican National Trust Pac, but is not affiliated at all with the Republican party.

Also this week, Sarah Palin and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg have taken opposite sides on the subject.

Palin has used her Twitter to show her opposition to the planned mosque, while Bloomberg has come out and voiced his support for it.

"I think our young men and women fighting overseas for exactly this, the right of people to practice their religion and for government to not pick and choose which religions they support and which religions they don't," said Bloomberg.

This was in response to comments Palin made on her Twitter account.

Palin tweeted that a ground zero mosque was unnecessary and would "stab hearts".
