Driver Charged for Killing Area Newspaper Carrier

A jury is seated in the case of an Indiana man charged with killing an area newspaper carrier and leaving the scene of an accident .

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office says around 11 a.m. on Sept. 19, they received an anonymous tip about the whereabouts of the driver that fled the scene of an accident that killed David Huff of Tompkinsville.

Authorities located Davy Mills in an abandoned trailer on Fourth St. in Tompkinsville.

Mills was taken to the Monroe County Medical Center for injuries he sustained during the wreck.

He's being charged with murder and theft over $300 for driving a stolen vehicle.
