An area man is being honored after spending more than 27 years working for the Kentucky State Police. Joe Gaddie, a detective at the Bowling Green Post, was honored at a retirement party this weekend in Butler County.
Many guests spoke on his behalf including Mayor Black, State Representative Woody Allen, and other police officers who were inspired to become a part of Kentucky State Police after meeting Gaddie in the past. Gaddie says he doesn't have any definite retirement plans but he will be staying in Butler County.
