The city's waterpark is winding down this weekend after a slow summer. Water Park leaders say this season has not been as busy as past seasons. They blame several rainy weekends this past month. Although the park offers several attractions most pools don't have city officials say the interest has died down over the past five years the park has been open.

In the future the park may been adding a water heating system to the pool. That way they could keep the pool open longer. The pool closes on the second weekend of September.
