BGPD Makes Arrest in June 2012 Bank Robbery

47-year-old Steven Paul Harston was arrested Wednesday afternoon in connection with the June 20, 2012 robbery of American Bank and Trust on Fairview Avenue.

Bowling Green Police say he was arrested on Shive Lane without incident.

BGPD says it considers Harston a strong suspect in multiple bank robberies in south central Kentucky and northern Tennessee.

BGPD, in cooperation with the Federal Bureau of Investigations, continues to search for evidence and information regarding other robberies.

Harston is in the Warren County Regional Jail on Robbery 1st degree charges.
