BNA Crash Pilot Lists Taylor Swift As Next-Of-Kin

Nashville, TN -- Many questions still surround last month's fatal crash at Nashville International Airport...but now there's a new one.

Why was country star Taylor Swift listed as the pilot's next-of-kin?

A single-engine Cessna crashed in a dense fog on the morning of October 29th, killing the Canadian pilot, Michael Callan.

The burned wreckage sat for several hours before anyone noticed.

Now, Nashville police confirm that in the days after the crash, an FAA investigator told a detective the pilot listed Taylor Swift as his next-of-kin.

Police notified Swift, but she and her camp denied knowing Callan.

The president of the flying club from which Callan rented the plane said Swift's name did not appear on any paperwork at the club. Instead, he says Callan listed his sisters as next-of-kin.

Meanwhile, the National Transportation Safety Board continues to investigate the incident.
