Batman Makes Appearance at Bowling Green Ballpark

Promotions are what make each and every night at a minor league baseball game unique. Sunday at Bowling Green Ballpark many families lined up before and during the game to meet Batman. The Dark Knight and his Lamborghini car were parked just behind the fans near the first base dugout and he even got to throw out the first pitch.

"For the hour he's been here there's been people surrounding him all game. Those are people who aren't necessarily going to come out to see the Hot Rods play but it's that promotion that drives them in. It's the same with fireworks and giveaways. That's what we can control. We're always looking for that new thing at the ballpark." said General Manager of the Hot Rods, Ryan Gates.

Batman was brought to the ballpark to make students aware of inhalant abuse through the Alliance For Consumer Education. We'll be right back with a final look at your weather.
