Bill for Bible Classes in Public Schools Moves Forward
34-1 vote in Senate today.

The idea of having bible classes taught in public schools took a step forward today. after a one sided vote in the state senate
Only one senator voted against the bill that would allow bible courses to be offered as electives in public schools, that one no vote came against 34 yes votes.
The sponsor of the bill, Joe Bowen of Owensboero, says the bill is intended to get students to know a book that has had tremendous impact on society.
A similar bill passed the senate last year, before dying in the house.
