Butler County Boys & Girls Club Receives New Building

The Butler County Boys & Girls Club has received a donation that may be priceless. The Antique Shop on Bowling Green Road will now be used as a rental property to help raise funding for the program. The organization says J. Marshall and Judi Hughes are the largest contributors they've had since the facility opened 16 years ago, which is why the building they've donated, will bear there names.

"I remember when we were fortunate enough to buy this building, that some of the ladies called me and said please don't destroy it. We were then fortunate enough to get it along into the shape it is in today. It means a whole lot to us."

The building and donated plots of land are worth around $90,000. The Boys & Girls Club of Butler County said any donation of any value, is greatly appreciated to help the youth of the community.
