Chaney's Hosts 18th Annual Duncan Hines Festival

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. (WBKO) -- The 18th Annual Duncan Hines Festival was at Chaney's Dairy Barn on Saturday afternoon.

Over a thousand people stopped by to see the arts and crafts vendors, hear the DJs or eat food and ice cream.

The main event was a baking contest.

Many also participated in a brownie eating contest.

"They put me up against all the girls. I really think I won, but what can I say, it was right there in the middle. I got whooped. I didn't win. I got a nice certificate though," said Moose Michaels of Goober 95.1, who participated in the brownie eating contest.

For those who did not know, Duncan Hines is a native of Bowling Green.

The proceeds go to Kids on the Block and oragnizers said the expected to exceed the usual they raise, which is about $20,000. is happy to provide a forum for commenting and discussion. Please respect and abide by the house rules:
