It was a packed house with plenty of hot food at the Presbyterian Church of Bowling Green.
Community Action of Southern Kentucky hosted a chili cook-off to support its Foster Grandparent program.
Each year senior volunteers are placed with children who have special needs to provide them with additional positive support.
The chili cook-off ensures the program continues.
"All of our volunteers are low income volunteers and this stipend helps them pay their bills and helps them with a better quality of life and they in turn help students achieve academic success," says Chris James from Community Action of Southern Kentucky.
While chili lovers were voting for their favorite chili they could also take part in a silent auction.
