Bowling Green City Commissioner and former Mayor, Joe Denning is at the Medical Center in serious condition.
The city released a statement saying, Denning fell on Tuesday and was taken to the hospital.
Kim Lancaster, with the city of Bowling Green says Denning is alert and receiving treatment.
Mayor Bruce Wilkerson said although he's hurt he's acting like himself, "he's still the same old Joe."
