For most people, all the information you could hope for is accessible with a click of the mouse.

But for many rural areas across South Central Kentucky broadband service is not available.

There is a national push to get all rural areas broadband Internet, and one organization helping research and find areas that need it is Connected Nation.

Bowling Green's Connected Nation was out at Circus Square Park getting some hands on training with the newest technology.

Chris McGovern, a manager with research and development, says "There are so many ways people can save money and save time.. and also get access to more education and public health care that really aren't available without broadband."

Bowling Green's Connected Nation is the largest contributor to the national map in terms of finding areas that need broadband.
The organization also helps businesses define the line when it comes to what areas of coverage their broadband reaches.
