Country Star's Drummer Seriously Injured in I-65 Crash

Officials identified country music star Kellie Pickler's drummer as one of the people in two crashes along interstate 65 yesterday.

Pickler's manager, Larry Fitzgerald said Gregg Lohman suffered serious injuries in the wreck yesterday.

University of Louisville Hospital spokesman David McArthur said Lohman remains in serious condition on Sunday.

State troopers said a collision between a tractor-trailer and an SUV headed north started a fire that slowed traffic on both sides of I-65.

Six people from rural Wisconsin were killed when the tractor-trailer rear-ended their vehicle.

Troopers said the wreck on the southbound lane were likely caused by people slowing to look at the initial crash.

The second crash happened only about 15 minutes later.
