UPDATE: Casey County Escaped Inmate Turns Himself In

UPDATE: 7:30am 9/26/13.

Police say 19-year-old Michael R. Branham turned himself into authorities at the Casey County Jail early Thursday morning.


CASEY COUNTY, Ky. -- Kentucky State Police say Michael R. Branham, 19, walked away from a work release detail at a Recycling Center in Liberty Wednesday morning at approximately 10:00 AM CST.

Branham is a 5’10”, 146 lb. white male with brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a white shirt and brown khaki pants.

He is wanted on a charge of Escape and was incarcerated for Fleeing/Evading Police in a Motor Vehicle, Receiving Stolen Property under $10,000 and Receiving Stolen Property over $10,000.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Branham is asked to call their local law enforcement agency or the Kentucky State Police at 1-800-222-5555. You may also text-a-tip to 67283.
