A car accident in Grayson County seriously injures two women, and one of them is nearly 8 months pregnant.

Police say 37-year-old Tonya Maxey from Falls of Rough was driving on Kentucky 54 Wednesday evening.

For unknown reasons, her car ran off the right side of the road and hit a concrete culvert.

Police say the car then turned and flipped several times landing on the driver's side.

Maxey and her passenger 19-year-old Amber Manor, also from Falls of Rough were seriously injured and air lifted to the University of Louisville Hospital.

Manor is seven and a half months pregnant and police say at last update she was in the labor and delivery department at U of L.
