A western Kentucky teacher is facing 39 counts of possessing child porn.

The Messenger-Inquirer reports that a Daviess County grand jury indicted 42-year-old Daniel Scott Neal of Owensboro on Wednesday. The charges come after the Attorney General's office began an investigation of Neal in May. Attorney general spokeswoman Shelly Catharine Johnson says the cybercrimes unit found 460 videos and 101 images of suspected child pornography on Neal's computer.

The newspaper reports Neal teaches English and coaches track at Hancock County High School.

Hancock County Public Schools superintendent Kyle Estes says Neal has been suspended from his job.

The newspaper reported an arrest warrant has been issued for Neal, but he wasn't immediately taken into custody.
