BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- Business reports are in and home sales are up.
Multiple reports show prices went up as much as 20% in certain cities across the U.S. Warren County is no exception. Officials with County Property Valuation said the area has seen an increase of more than 5% during the past few years. They add Bowling Green is usually safe from spikes and dips but 2008 dug a big hole.
"It dropped 2.8%. Since then we're actually 2% to maybe 2.5% higher than we were then," said Warren County Property Valuation Administrator, Bob Branstetter.
Warren County has 38,00 homes in all. County Property Valuation officials said the average time to sell a house right now is six months to a year.
