BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- Home school students celebrated Constitution Day on Thursday at Rich Pond Baptist Church.

They took turns reciting parts of the U.S. Constitution. Teachers also quizzed them on a variety of subjects so they could show off what they've learned.

Regina Webb and State Representative Jim Decesare were there to watch.

"It was great. We went in the classrooms, did experiments, and done our presentations," said homeschooler Ethan Arredondo.

"To watch those students, how bright they are, and learning about the Constitution is to me something that will help them the rest of their lives to understand about the laws that are surrounding them to help make them a stronger citizen," Webb said.

Webb said she applauds the parents who take the time to home school their children.
