A house fire in Franklin gave residents a scare Wednesday night.
At about 6:30, the Franklin Fire Department responded to a house on fire on Orange Street.
Officials were able to put the blaze out quickly but said it could have been much worse.
Oxygen and ammunition were inside when the fire started.
The blaze was contained to the front of the house, but took out a wall between two rooms.
Two dogs were inside the house at the time of the fire, they are safe.
"Even though I lost stuff, it can be replaced because you know nobody got hurt. Stuff's not the main thing. Everything else has got a dollar symbol on it. I didn't want nobody getting hurt," says homeowner, Bruce Owens.
While the cause of the fire is still under investigation, firefighters say early investigation shows it was electrical.
