The Census Bureau has reported that national sales of new single-family homes dropped by 13.4% last month.
About 394,000 new homes sold in July -- down from 455,000 in June.
Locally, one realtor said she hasn't seen much of a change this month or in the past year.
"We had a really good July. We were still running 95% of list to sales price in Warren County, and we've seen the interest rates spike a little, but it seems as though sales are still maintaining about the same," said Realtor Doris Carver.
Carver said, if anything, inventory is down and it's a good time to list in the area.
She said sales typically aren't as high later in the year, but increase again in January.
