UPDATE: Inappropriate Contact Alleged Between Student and Employee of South Warren High School



BOWLING GREEN, KY (WBKO ) -- UPDATE 5:35PM 5/19/14

Police say they have arrested a South Warren High School employee.

John Marsh, 26, was taken to the Warren County Regional Jail around 4:30 Friday afternoon on charges of burglary and sodomy.

Police say Marsh and the teen were involved in sexual activity in the girl's home.

Police are still investigating.


A Warren County girl leaves home in a dispute with her parents, and authorities say it was over alleged inappropriate contact with a school employee.

The Warren County Sheriff's Office says it is waiting for an instructional assistant at South Warren High School to turn himself in for alleged inappropriate contact with a 17-year-old female student.

At 5:45 a.m. Thursday deputies responded to a "missing person" call. They learned the girl had left home earlier that morning in a dispute over the alleged inappropriate contact. They found the girl around 11:30 a.m.

Deputies say they expect charges to be filed.
