Drivers unfamiliar with our roads in the United States got a chance to get behind the wheel Friday.

The National Corvette Museum hosted its first International Driving School.

Students from across the globe used a simulator to learn the rules of the road.

Everything from fastening a seat belt, to using turn signals and even changing lanes was new to most students.

"There are not familiar with this. You know some countries there are even places where the women don't drive. So we have women in here also. They are all having a great time on the simulators and it's in a safe environment," says National Corvette Museum Education Coordinator Kellie Steen.

Organizers say Friday's class is a stepping stone for international students before they take a permit test.
