Jaquavion Bunton's Murder Trial Ends in Hung Jury

Warren Commonwealth Attorney Chris Cohron says Bunton will get a pretrial hearing April 15 to set a new trial date.

For three-and-a-half days a Warren Circuit Court jury heard testimony In the murder of 51-year-old Freddie Emberton.

Jaquavion "Des" Bunton,17, is one of three teenagers accused of robbing and beating Emberton to death in April of 2011. Bunton was on trial for complicity to murder and first degree robbery, but his trial ended Friday in a hung jury.

Warren Commonwealth Attorney Chris Cohron says Bunton will get a pretrial hearing April 15 to set a new trial.

Daniel Beasley pleaded guilty to manslaughter in December and Dominick Cunningham is awaiting his trial in the case.
