Kentucky State Police Post 3 has extended its Cram the Cruiser food drive.
KSP is moving back the cut-off date from this Friday to Sunday.
Public Affairs Officer Jonathan Biven says the extension is not for their need for more donations.
He said donations have been up this year, and he wants to give everyone the weekend to get their donations in.
"We thought we could get a little more donations to help assist families over this holiday season," Trooper Biven said.
He said Post 3 collected about 1,900 lbs of food last year.
He expects this year's donations to more than exceed that number.
