Kentucky State Police Raffles Off Camaro

"It gives them the opportunity to have your basic summer camp without any charge to them.  They get to do boating, archery, crafts, crafts, get to hang out with troopers that are going to be there.  It's just a great team building exercise for them," said Kentucky State Trooper Jonathan Biven.

Kentucky State Police are raffling off a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro to benefit children in our area.

The Camaro is now on display in front of KSP Post 3 in Bowling Green. KSP says the proceeds from ticket sales will go to help fund Trooper Island their annual summer camp for underprivileged youth.

"It gives them the opportunity to have your basic summer camp without any charge to them. They get to do boating, archery, crafts, crafts, get to hang out with troopers that are going to be there. It's just a great team building exercise for them," said Kentucky State Trooper Jonathan Biven.

Tickets for the raffle are $10 dollars and can be purchased from any Kentucky State Trooper or at any KSP post. The winner will be drawn on Aug. 25th at the Kentucky State Fair.
