Ky. School Bus Strikes Deer, 9 Injured

A southwestern Kentucky school bus has struck a deer sending nine children to the hospital with minor injuries.

Christian County Sheriff's Deputy Sean Head told the Kentucky New Era after striking the deer Monday morning, the bus hit a guard rail and skidded about 150 feet before stopping.

The injured students and the bus monitor were taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center. The deer was killed.
