Former U.S. Rep. Ron Lewis has donated his congressional papers to Campbellsville University.
The News-Enterprise reports Lewis spoke during a short dedication ceremony that was held Monday at the school's Montgomery library.
Lewis says researchers might be able to use the documents, which were organized and placed into 87 boxes, to analyze how he made decisions, but he hopes they will excuse scribbles and doodles in the margins of some documents.
Lewis won the 2nd Congressional District seat in a 1994 special election and retired in 2009.
