The new multi-million dollar visitor center officially opened at Mammoth Cave National park Tuesday.
The construction was divided up into two phases that began in 2007.
Some of the new features include 103 solar panels, brand new exhibits, bamboo counter tops, and much more.
"We have a brand new visitors center and brand new exhibits that are truly state of the art, and we'll be able to present this park in a very professional way, a very educational way to our many visitors," said Park Superintendent Sarah Craighead.
The project cost 16.4 million dollars and officials hope this will help boost local economies even more.
