Man Dies In Fire At Hotel

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- Authorities in Louisville say a 44-year-old man has died in a hotel fire.

Jefferson County Deputy Coroner Jack Arnold tells The Courier-Journal (http://cjky.it/PbFIjy ) that officials believe Robert Joseph Roach died of smoke inhalation after a fire started in his room on Saturday at the Extended Stay Hotel. He had lived there for six years.

Arnold says Roach was pronounced dead at Suburban Hospital. An autopsy is planned for Sunday.
