Man Killed After Being Hit by Train in Louisville

Metro police are investigating after a man was hit and killed by a train in southwestern Louisville.

Police tell WLKY-TV that the man was hit just before midnight on Thursday, and they are investigating the circumstances. Authorities say it appears the man was hit by a P&L train as he walked along the tracks. He wasn't immediately identified.

The train conductor called police.
