BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) -- A Bowling Green man charged with murder and robbery in a fatal holdup at a pizza place has pleaded not guilty.

21-year-old John Shobe III entered the plea Monday in Warren Circuit Court. He is charged with killing 51-year-old Harold Dean Johnson outside a Domino's Pizza in Bowling Green in August.

Police said robbery was the motive for the shooting, which occurred after the facility closed. There were others inside the building at the time, but no one else was injured.
