Mechanical Means Used to Pull Driver Out of Car After Crash

A juvenile has been air lifted to Vanderbilt Hospital, another adult passenger, at a local hospital after a car crashed into a tree in Warren County.

The Warren County Sheriff's Department says it happened Wednesday at about 4:00 in the afternoon.

A green 2001 Mercury was driving in the 700 block of Hammett Pill Road when it crashed into a tree.

Police say the driver, who was a juvenile, had to be removed from the car by mechanical means.

The adult passenger was transported to Greenview Hospital by family members.

Police say they do not know if seat-belts were worn or if alcohol is a factor.
