A welfare check on children living a Warren County home leads to a meth bust Friday afternoon.
Deputies went to the home of 25 year old Crystal and 27 year old Joshua Walkup to assist social services with a welfare check on the children at the residence on Ben Leo Road.
When they arrived they saw items commonly associated with making meth in plain site.
Both the Walkups were arrested on charges of manufacturing meth and the Warren County Drug Task Force was called to clean up the hazardous items.
The Walkups are currently being held in the Warren County Regional Jail.
