Mini Corvette Challenge Raises Impressive Funds for Junior Achievement

"With $38,000, we will be able to provide seventy-six classroom programs to our five county region and all of the kindergarten through twelfth grade students. This will teach them financial literacy, basic business principles, entrepreneurship and work force readiness skills," said Megan Ormon, Junior Achievement of SCKY Program Manager.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky (WBKO) -- Junior Achievement’s Mini Corvette Challenge raised more than $38,000!

That is more than the event has raised throughout the past couple of years.

Three new teams were added to this year's challenge, totaling twenty-one competitors in Saturday's races.

The money raised will go back to fund Junior Achievement’s free business programming for students.

The money raised will impact nearly 1,900 students in South Central Kentucky.
