The Glasgow Fire Department responded to two fires within minutes of each other Thursday night.

The first call came in around 6:00 PM for a fire on the roof of the J L French plant. Officials say work being done on ceiling lights likely started the fire.

A second call came in shortly after the first one for a fire on Humble Avenue. Officials say when they arrived, they found light smoke and a blackened wall socket.

No injuries were reported in either fire.
