Nashville Sheraton Will Host Star Wars Casting Call

Nashville’s open casting call will take place on Sunday, November 24th at the Sheraton Nashville Downtown Hotel (623 Union Street) from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

A casting-call notice for Star Wars: Episode VII has made its way online. Interested persons may submit for consideration online or attend a "Meet and Greet" which will hit only three US cities - Troy, MI, Austin, TX, and Nashville, TN.

The open call details two roles being auditioned, both described as "major" roles. Nashville’s Meet and Greet will take place on Sunday, November 24th at the Sheraton Nashville Downtown Hotel (623 Union Street) from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The character descriptions call for both a male and female role. The female character has grown up without parents, while the male character is lacking a father figure.

Star Wars: Episode VII will be directed by J.J. Abrams, most famous for the hit television dramas Lost, Alias, and Fringe as well as his critically-acclaimed films such as Super 8, Cloverfield, and the most recent popular Star Trek franchise.
