The war on drugs continues, trying to keep prescription drugs out of the wrong hands.

The Save Our Kids Coalition held a news conference Tuesday with local authorities to inform the public about proper disposal.

Stickers are now placed on most medicine bottles in Warren County reminding citizens to drop off unused drugs.

Officials say without proper disposal some people will go to great lengths to find those drugs.

"We are trying to get these unused medications out of circulation so that people aren't stealing them or taking them. So what the labels do is it leads people to the disposal units installed so they can dispose the unused medication," says Executive Director of the Save Our Kids Coalition Eric Gregory.

Drop-off boxes can be found at the Warren County Sheriff's Office, Bowling Green Police Department and the Kentucky State Police Post on Nashville Road.
