EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio (AP) -- The third victim of a man charged with killing three women whose bodies were found wrapped in trash bags in northeast Ohio has been identified.
The victim was identified Tuesday to The Associated Press by her grandmother as 18-year-old Shirellda Helen Terry.
Rosetta Terry says authorities notified the family that her granddaughter was one of the three victims that were found last week in East Cleveland.
Thirty-five-year-old suspect Michael Madison is in custody facing preliminary charges of aggravated murder and kidnapping in the slayings. He is a registered sex offender who served four years in prison beginning in 2002.
Shirellda's grandmother says she was last seen July 10 when she was leaving a Cleveland elementary school where she had a summer job.
Earlier Tuesday authorities identified 28-year-old Shetisha Sheeley as one of the victims.
EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio (AP) -- Authorities have identified the second of three female victims whose bodies were found last week near Cleveland wrapped in trash bags.
The body of 28-year-old Shetisha Sheeley was found in a field Saturday in East Cleveland.
The Cleveland woman was arrested last year on a charge of firing a weapon from a vehicle. The case was dismissed three months later because there was no eyewitness.
Her attorney, Michael Nelson, says Sheeley came from a troubled family background and never got help posting her $1,000 bond. Nelson recalls her as unemployed and vulnerable.
The victim's mother, Kim Sheeley, asked for prayers and told WEWS-TV that her daughter's death "has been really, really" hard on her.
A registered sex offender has been charged with aggravated murder and kidnapping in the killings.
